The live-action film adaptation of Mika Yamamori's manga, In the Clear Moonlit Dusk, has unveiled a new trailer, revealing the theme song "Moonlit" by Naniwa Danshi. The film, directed by Kentarō Takemura and starring Shunsuke Michieda and Seira Anzai, is set to open in Japan on October 23. The story follows Yoi Takiguchi, a girl who has long been known as a 'Prince' due to her good looks, and her relationship with Kohaku Ichimura, a fellow high school student and prince. The film is produced by TBS Sparkle and distributed by TOHO. The manga, which launched in Dessert magazine in 2020, has been licensed by Kodansha USA Publishing and ranked #11 on the list of manga for female readers in the 2023 Kono Manga ga Sugoi! guidebook. The anime adaptation of the manga premiered on January 11 and was streamed by Crunchyroll as it aired in Japan. The live-action film promises to bring the captivating story of Yoi and Kohaku to life on the big screen.
